Pilot program · Corridors

Land and constraint records for utility, telecom, road, and water corridors.

A corridor team needs more than a line on a map. The proposed ROW Context API would split your route at land-unit boundaries, identify each section or Texas survey it crosses, and return surface, environmental, terrain, and nearby energy records in one schema.

Who it's for: Transmission teams, utilities, telecom and fiber providers, road programs, water infrastructure, and ROW consultants.

Workflow

Start with the location. End with evidence your team can use.

  1. 1Send a route line, corridor width, and project or asset ID.
  2. 2Split the route at section lines or at your own segment boundaries.
  3. 3Get the PLSS section or Texas survey for each segment.
  4. 4Attach federal, environmental, terrain, energy, and infrastructure records.
  5. 5Receive GeoJSON and a structured response for ROW review or GIS handoff.
Output

What you get for each tract

Each result keeps the land identity and the source context together, so a reviewer can see what was found, where it came from, and what still needs professional judgment.

Affected land units

Sections, Texas surveys, counties, states, and affected acreage by segment.

Constraints

Surface management, soils, wetlands, flood, habitat, terrain, and nearby infrastructure.

GIS-ready output

A proposed GeoJSON response you can compare with the fields your ROW system already uses.

This is the proposed response for the pilot. The endpoint isn't live yet, and the values are illustrative.
